Word of the Week 2: “wear”

The commonly used verb, “wear,” is one of the versatile words that you can use in many different situations.  This week, I would like to chiefly focus on the specific definitions — dress, put on,  exhibit, and present through examples.

a) Many women of that political party tend to wear perfume.  향수를 뿌리다

b) You can come across a number of guys who wear tattoos.  문신을 하다

c) A lady in red is wearing Spongbob Squarepants earrings.  귀걸이를 걸다

d) Don’t forget to wear wrist watch before leaving for an interview.  시계를 차다

e) A girl from a poverty-stricken village always wears a bright smile on her face.  웃음짓다.

*If you have any questions or need more examples, please let me know.  Thanks. 🙂
